heavy_wx
In the northern fringe of the lake effect band with most of the heavy snow south over northern cayuga county. The band will probably stay to the south for the next several hours given the steady wnw flow at 850 mb, with a few oscillations to the north or south. Gorizer
What a pleasant surprise this squall has been! A bit over 2 inches and snowing steadliy and pretty hard! Logan11
It lightened a lot here now, but maybe the plume will re-energize some to our west northwest. Usually have to look toward like Canajoharie and Herkimer to see if some heavier pulses are forming. What a pleasant surprise this squall has been!
