I feel like you will get your delay tomorrow morning. Maybe an 1"-1.5" sn followed by 1/16" ice? Looks like 2m temps on Euro stay below freezing around here well into the morning. Regardless these minor events are pretty intresting in how sensible weather can vary over a small area (typical 32.5 R- mby , 31.7 .1" glaze at the top of my street ~100' higher in elevation)
N. OF PIKE
wonder if i can get in inch in either wakefield,ma or cambridge,ma to reatively sh%t locales for winter weather this year. miss the icing threats i had in w.framingham last year. like seeing seniors slip and go boom right outside the window....man the good ole days. Tropopause_Fold
I think a decent little snow event tonight. Guidance always wants to push these arctic airmasses out too fast.
weatherMA
18z nam didn't increase qpf, but looks cooler. Still supports a 33F snow at ORH for 12z. Looks like maybe a widespread inch with "jackpot" areas of 2"+?

Foster, RI FTW. I don't really buy 4-6" from an event like this, but if it over-performs, it could be a 2-3" deal for someone.
BostonWX
15z SREFs are certainly bullish for the NWCT up into ORH hills area. I think a lot of SE Mass starts as snow with this one, even down into Taunton and even souther of there throughout interior SE Mass. I think a widespread 1/2 inch or so right to the coast of Eastern Mass with this, to 1-2 even in the coastal plain maybe Andover to Topsfield. Wouldn't surprise me if this busted high and we saw 1-2 inch totals into the 128 region south to Randolph.

wxmanmitch
wxmanmitch its tough to see from the picture posted above but what does it say for north eastern RI Looks like 2-3" or 3-4" depending on where you are exactly. I'd go with a 1-2" event for NE RI, with maybe a spot 2-3" for NW RI if it does well.
