NECT
I thought grauple was "spongy like" hail? According to NOAA Same as snow pellets or small hail. So I saw something that looked like snow pellets, but now it's snowing.

Mr Torchey
Exact opposite of what normally occurs my back deck is mainly wet while the driveway and ground have a trace because of the recent cold temps and the deck being elevated with temps just above freezing lol. weathafella
It is absolutely ripping here now. The snow growth is nearly perfect now. That settles it. Out with the dog for the next hour. Radar suggests the best and most concentrated echoes are riding the pike so perhaps I will see that soon.

Logan11
The last batch of decent snow here now as the echoes are all shifting into NE. We may finish this batch with 1 inch accumulation. I thought most of what the models had was after 3Z ..so this seems like a bonus. Nice and cold yet at 21.6F. It is absolutely ripping here now. The snow growth is nearly perfect now.
