Yep. Looks like we'll be doing quite well.

OT but does anyone know of a good place to sled in State College? Preferably close to campus. My friend brought up sleds from home, finally get to use em...

Scroll down here: http://www.sledriding.com/Pennsylvania.html

It's alphabetical by county - three places in Centre, including a campus one.

The 511 PA traffic cam system has sucked lately.

Here's the old list, which has all of them. This is for District 9 (Altoona/Johnstown ones). The link for your neck of the woods, State College, I-80, etc is down toward the bottom (District 2).

GFS continues to be colder than the nam. Very similar to the Euro. Getting reports tonight on our FB page that sleet is mixing in already in southern Somco

I was a bit worried when that heavier band moved through that could've been heralding some mixing up into JST and the road cams didn't seem to really be showing much in the way of a visibility drop. Cams are lookin pretty now though.

Roads covered again, maybe .1" on cars. Question about flakes-we're currently getting very fine snow. Will we see larger flakes when we get heavier bands due to good snow growth? I don't know much about the process. All I learned was the Bergeron-Findeison process is when water vapor is attracted to ice crystals (yay meteo 201).
