The new NAM is horrid. Cuts the QPF rather drastically, and is warmer.

I expect a screw job for most of PA based on the fact that the mix line is already pressing towards us in PGH.....

EVENING UPDATE TO ADD SLEET ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTHERN COUNTIES TO

NORTH OF PITTSBURGH. EVENING SOUNDINGS SHOW A DRY LAYER AROUND

900MB WITH TEMPERATURES NEAR OR ABOVE FREEZING TOWARD 800MB. THIS

HAS ALL LOWED SLEET TO DEVELOP THIS EVENING IN LEADING BAND OF

PRECIPITATION MOVING NORTHEAST ACROSS REGION. STILL EXPECT

SATURATION AND WET BULBING TO BRING MAINLY SNOW ACROSS I-70 TO

NORTH OF PITTSBURGH OVERNIGHT BEFORE CHANGING BACK TO A MIX TOWARD

Yep. Looks like we'll be doing quite well.

OT but does anyone know of a good place to sled in State College? Preferably close to campus. My friend brought up sleds from home, finally get to use em...

I used to sled on the hills down by eastview terrace/south... not sure where else...
