If one looks to the south at current observations, it is evident that a warm surge is coming and it might even exceed what has been modeled.

Some 5 pm temperatures were:

Atlanta: 69°

Charleston: 70° (had reached 77°)

Charlotte: 63°

Norfolk: 63°

Raleigh: 65°

Richmond: 61° (had hit 65°)

Salisbury: 56°

Washington, DC:

...DCA: 54°

...IAD: 50°

Given some of those numbers, it is likely that Philadelphia will reach or exceed 60° tomorrow. There is also a chance that NYC could reach 60° tomorrow.

kinda fugly with surface temps, but i think the gfs just takes too long to bring it together

its a nice h5 progression, but will it wont it will the cold air will be the big question.

yeah the northern stream is alittle too slow to allow cold air to filter in but look what the gfs does even after that..wow!

idc if i sound like a flaming weenie but this gfs run is the best we had all winter and that's a fact. The PNA takes weenie roids

its ridiculous, its storm after storm after storm all similar track and absolutely a metfan wet dream.

Fun to look at but sadly, its too good to be true

even one of the four storms the gfs shows would easily save this winter, if not make it memorable for some.

its 100% pna driven, an epic run, but take it with a grain of salt until HM says otherwise
