TheTrials
If I didn't have class I would definitely be running. This is great. But then again, I run in the summer when it's in the 80s at night. I don't do the whole running in the cold thing though. Forget that. So now you are a runner? riiiiiiight.

MJO812
Mark Vogan Severe cold with plenty of snow I believe is coming to USA in next 10-20 days given what I'm seeing with the models, recent strat warming etc backs up my ideas from around Christmas in which I forecasted a tough period following 15, 20th Jan onwards. I continue to hold to the idea a MAJOR COLDWAVE looms in Feb across a large part of Lower 48.. with lows going near to or below zero in major cities of I-95. Isotherm
well that guy is a truck driver lol. Yeah but he could be the smartest guy in his town for all we know. I don't like to judge someone's knowledge based on whether they have a degree in a particular field or not. Often times the brightest folks don't have a degree (sometimes the best forecasters). Not defending Mark Vogan particular, just making a general statement. Him being a truck driver doesn't necessarily mean he's an idiot, just like blonde women. Isotherm
Phase 7 and 8, of course are the best. Actually 8-1-2 are better. 7 has some warmth hanging on. So even if we made it to p7 like some ensemble members indicate, it still wouldn't be a great pattern.
