He just said bring you snowboots tomorrow night. That is unnecessarily overhyping tomorrow's event.

i think you're taking him out of context... he was kinda joking with Liz about whether to wear high heels and he said she'd be alright during the early evening hours but it's better to wear snowboots as the night goes on... I don't think that's hyping the event.. :pepsi:

I just got back from a vacation in Minnesota. Yeah, who would take a week long vacation to Minnesota in the middle of the winter! My first day there, it was 52 degrees, a record high. I "complained" that 52 degrees was "chilly" and the locals said that I'm lucky it's not below 0. A few days later, it returned to normal weather with highs in the teens and lows in the single digits. There were persistent snow flurries for several days that actually looked pretty beautiful and didn't cause any driving hazards. They left very little water after melting, probably because the ratios were very high. We don't get those snow flurries here, we either get snowstorms or rain. My last day there, it warmed up to 40 degrees and I felt warm. I feel like I'm used to the cold now after experiencing several days with the temperature not getting above 15, something that never happens here. I left just in time to miss today's weather of a high of 3 degrees and a low of -10.

Funny (or sad) how close this might wind up being to your 06/07 measurement

Would probably still take the 2 feet. Watching it fall at 2 to 4" an hour with wind and thunder and lightning, even if its gone 2 days later would be worth it.

Really? I think there's nothing sadder than having your widespread winter wonderland turn into slush and mud less than 3 days after a historic snowstorm/blizzard.

As soon as coworkers find out I have a degree in meteorology I automatically become the go to weather person. So if someone asks me what the weather is going to be like on a particular day I have to be prepared :-)

How about you were tracking the weather because it can be potentially dangerous to the workers and business property
