SnowGoose69
Fifth warmest November at Central Park, fourth warmest December at Central Park, can we keep the streak going...? I don't even think we crack top 10 right now to be honest, we have virtually no shot at top 5.

NEXtreme
Are we still on for the major warmup next week or what? Do the models still shows highs in the 60s? Although mild for a couple of days, Torch cancelled! 60's off the table! All the talk of major torch with 70's a waste of time. Instead there are chances of some snow this week ... Lmao. ag3
Everyone knows the euro will cave tonight or tomorrow and we will have another rain storm Saturday. Let's be real. The silence in this forum is telling. Normally, we would be hopping when the euro shows 3"-6" inside of 96 hours. But not this year. No clipper no weekend.storm. shocking. nycsnow
It's the winter of 2011-12 you all really don't expect snow this weekend right?
SnoSki14
It's the winter of 2011-12 you all really don't expect snow this weekend right? Even in the god awful 2001-2002 winter, we had one snow event so I'm not discounting it.
jm1220
SW flow events with no blocking to the north are almost destined to trend north at this time range. I'd be way more excited about seeing something if I lived in Boston. Maybe this is finally the storm they start raking it in at our expense. Brian5671
one does have to worry about the sudden lurch northward of any SWFE especially this year....if it's there Friday, I'll be on board.

ag3
Coating to 1" is probably the best we should expect this week. And not from the Saturday "event" but from the clipper early Friday morning, while 99% of us are sleeping.
ag3
Check out the NAM metfan just posted... Surface temps are 35 for city before the clipper and even higher for LI. When precip hits, the temps fall to 30-31, but with a lack of real precip, there wont be much time for accumulations. I think coating to 1" at best. With the 1" north of the city.
