NYCSuburbs
It's about time it finally snowed here... had a moderate snow squall with gusty winds this morning with temps dropping since then along with occasional light snow. There's a snow squall staying to south but by now, I couldn't care less how much snow falls this winter as long as it actually snows.
nycsnow
Why worry, the pressure is all on the Packers, nobody expects the Giants to win...nobody. I've seen a few people pick them esp in the daily news

IsentropicLift
I've seen a few people pick them esp in the daily news Hey it could happen. I remember that in 2007 I thought they stood no chance going into Lambo and beating Bret Farve and they did. Hell, I wasn't sure they could even win in Dallas the week before, but that was a much healthier more stacked defense. Manning is having a great year no doubt, but can that defence shut down Rogers for four quarters?

Not entirely true. I had 10"-11" in NE Queens, as did LGA. The big totals started mid Nassau County and east. But the south shores of Queens and Brooklyn received about 13"-15" as well. ag3
Your favorite model, the spc-wrf and also the NMM both have a decent lakes streamer over us tomorrow afternoon. You can add the 18z NAM bringing the streamer to NYC, just like the SPC and NMM. Although the SPC and NMM are stronger with it.

Kinda like what we are seeing right now.

jm1220
JFK got 15". I had around 17" in Rockville Centre. That's about what I had, around a foot and a half. The banding that set up late evening from 7-11pm packed a huge punch. It got even worse for Suffolk, which had up to 25".

NYCSuburbs
High level of excitement for scattered flurries and for tomorrow with a slight risk of a 15-20 dbz light snow shower in the middle of January... can't get much worse than this. Last year we were counting snow events almost at the same rate we're counting 50+ degree days this winter.
