No not at all. Thinking of going skiing out that way this weekend and hoping it would switch. Your the first report I have heard.

Cool! We have definitely not had a good winter for the winter enthusiasts around here. The ground is getting covered now with a thick dusting/coating of wet snow. Almost down to freezing....

Are you not getting any snow yet?

Just came back from Meijer, just enough snow to make everything slick. A car was off the road along the curves on 350, between the fire station and the hospital. Meijer lot was a skating rink, nearly rear ended a lady at 5 mph who decided to stop 20 feet short of the stop. :arrowhead:

ILN makes me want to beat my head against the wall. They cause so much public confusion with every winter storm. First off, they have 2 sets of advisory, watch and warning criteria in their CWA for winter storms which means a county to your South can be under a Winter Storm Warning for 4" of snow and the county right next to them can be under a Winter Weather Advisory for 6". At every one of our media/EMA workshops with them we have tried (all of us) to stress to them how confusing this is.

And then today, they issue a Winter Weather Advisory for their Southwestern half of their CWA (who will get less snow than areas farther North) while Dayton at the heart of rush hours gets a heavy burst of snow and no advisory, etc. Just makes no sense.

SNow is starting to mix in across s/e Michigan...Also, this storm looks so much like that February storm last year..not the feb 1st, the one after..when Detroit got 10"..was supposed to get a lot less...

Presidents day storm. That was a healthy slug of WAA snows with incredible lapse rates.

Snow's ended in Muncie. Temp's down to 22. The wind has started to pick up, but for moment only in gusts. Eyeballing under a half inch on the grassy surfaces and cars. Roads are clear of snow, but there's a fair puddles. We lost a bit of accumulation due to the ground being so wet, and once the freeze really takes hold, roads are gonna be nasty.
