496 BB
Anyone have a a call for CMH? Or at least have the qpf and possible ratios? Chicago WX
Light snow continuing, light coating on things. Nice. You and Hoosier are going to be the spotters for this one. No slant sticking. BTW, how did the "surgery" go?
hawkeye_wx
We are getting the heaviest snow so far, easily high end moderate. The first pivot point of this storm is close to Cedar Rapids. The best radar returns appear to be stalled just barely northeast of me, but we're getting it pretty good. The flakes increase in size somewhat when radar shows green. Yeah, just light at the moment. I'll be eyeballing the amounts from my window The "surgery" went well enough, mostly healed except one won't stop bleeding. Might have to go back in later to get it checked out. On the other hand, watching looney toons and the snow makes for a great afternoon

PSUBlizzicane2007
It's good to see that ILN FINALLY caved into giving out a WWA. It took them long enough. No snow here yet... it should be just off to our west. The cold front definitely has come through.

I think you may break your 8.5" call. With the meso low coming into play, I could see 10" being a possibility.

I'm dreading it with the bridge closure here. Tonight I think I'll just stay longer after work, go to a bar for an hour or two, then head home. Tomorrow's rush in the morning will be awful. I do not want to be stuck going down that narrow Clark bridge in the morning.... ugh.
