ENYsnow
Definitely a suprise here in ALB.. still 32.1 with SN and just measured 2". Finally an overperformer.
Logan11
It's really snowing and blowing hard here now. It has crept up to 30.6F. 37.4 here with rain. Looks like euro may be right with mid level temps for now.
CoastalWx
It looks like the Euro absolutely schooled the NAM and SREFs on ML temps. Sfc temps are another story, though the Euro was never overly cold, but it looks like it was too cold nonetheless. Yeah seems like it. Good thing we sort of questioned those models. ORH_wxman
Almost 0.5" on the dot...snow growth absolutely stinks right now...but ORH just went to this ob: KORH 120926Z AUTO 05006KT 1/4SM R11/6000VP6000FT SN FZFG VV001 M01/M01 A2988 RMK AO2 P0004 So maybe we are about to see improvement, because it wasn't mod snow here a few minutes ago. wxmanmitch
Eyeballing about 1.5" here with moderate snow. Not sure how much longer I stay snow, but it's coming down good now. It's rather wet and clinging to everything, looks pretty for now. 31.6° F.

phil882
A little bit more than an inch here in downtown Albany. We are hanging on to light snow, although the huge flakes we were seeing earlier have transitioned over to more and more ice pellets... the warm nose is approaching. wxmanmitch
Really going to town under heavy echoes here now. Moderate to heavy snow, at least an inch per hour. Once that dry slot moves in here from CT, we may flip as the precip is light enough that the mid-level WAA may win out.
Logan11
Meanwhile out here we have dropped 1.5 degrees in the last half hour. Now 29.1F and the snow flakes are smaller. Some drifting. ORH_wxman
Winds too easterly to hold onto low level cold for long...this is all about how much longer we can hang onto snow...which isn't much longer I do not think
weatherMA
33.8 / 32 mostly snow here .. coating on the deck not worth staying up all night for lol lol, you made me get out of bed to check. Yeah its snowing here but I doubt it lasts long...looks to be all snow. And yeah I'm glad I fell asleep at 11...earliest I've gone to sleep in a while. CoastalWx
About 80% snow in Andover. Pretty bad to be this far north and have diarrhea from the clouds.
Logan11
Got a report of 5 inches at the 2k foot level in the Eastern Catskills. I'm sure I'm over 3 inches.... I missed the heaviest echoes that went over ALB an hour ago and it's unfortunate because it would have been a better snow here at 29 degrees. Winds too easterly to hold onto low level cold for long...this is all about how much longer we can hang onto snow...which isn't much longer I do not think
ORH_wxman
It looks as if the sleet/rain line is just south of the pike now....as yellow echoes are washing out over southern ORH county right now
weatherMA
Well its all snow here...coating down. Need to go back to bed so I can get up for school at 7, but hoping I can pull off measurable. Should be rain by the time I'm up again.
HIPPYVALLEY
32/31 SN just under .5" very wet snow. Interesting that the radar looks like rain just E of the Valley rather than in the valley itself.
ORH_wxman
Flakes becoming much bigger here in the past 2-3 minutes...should stick better, but it also means the end is near...means aloft we are starting to aggregate better. Probably will be lucky to keep this for more than about 30 minutes...but we'll see.
moneypitmike
Ripping pretty good here. Have about an inch or so on the ground. Pretty breeezy. Davis shows it coming from 90, but I wonder if that's getting screwed up due to the flow up the hill as the flakes under the light are goingN-S. Not pleased to see me at 30.5/30 already. Menawhile, they just called a two-hour delay.
