8" reported in Kennebunk. Nice, about triple what they were probably expecting today. Can't wait to see other updated totals.

That seems a bit on the high side to me compared to what's at my house. I'd guess I have 5 or 6. Then again, KBK is pretty spread out, so I suppose it's possible. I'm quite happy with what we have.

3.5" for a total here in Lenox. 3" of snow, 1/2" of sleet. Not bad considering I was expecting a quick transition to sleet and rain. The storm even ended as a few flurries here, indicating that the mid-levels never warmed much above about 0.5° C or so. These marginal situations in the mid-levels often result in a sleet on the west slope, snow on the east slope situation as the upslope cooling there is just enough to overcome the thin, slightly above freezing warm layer. Here on the west side, downsloping enhances its potency some. If the warm layer is warmer and thicker, it's more likely to be sleet on both sides of the crest (or with rain west and sleet/freezing rain east).

It's been on and off drizzle here all afternoon at 33° F, but low-level cold drain from the NE could flip me to freezing drizzle this evening.

A light glaze has formed on a lot of surfaces the past hour here...could be a nasty night...I'm surprised at the comeback the CAD made at the surface...really tugged down some colder air from NH/ME after temps rose a bit above freezing around midday.

What was your official total at the house?

5" here and definitely a bit icy on roads. Overpeformer in the Monadnocks. Never changed to rain and had minimal sleet, almost 100% snow except right around the lunch hour.

4.1" I'm going with...it might have been 4.2" or 4.3" at its highest but we were kind of oscillating between pellets/ZR and snow at the end, so it was tough to tell when it was at its max.

Wow. Pretty cool. LOL, funny we joked about how the euro was giving those amounts if you believed the output. It had like 0.25" QPF as snow by 12z I believe..on the 11/00z run. I never thought you would get 4.1", yesterday. Shows how things go right when you have some key features in place. Good steady lift, cold high pressure..and the mid levels a little cooler than progged.
