nzucker
Had about 4" in Rindge with moderate snow continuing. Temperature is 30.4F. We switched to sleet for a little while around the lunch hour but have gone back to snow as the last band moves in. Looks great outside.

JJBASHB
Snow mixing back in with IP. 60/40 ip/sn. 31.4F. Drops half a degree every strong gust. Measured in a few spots and got an average of 4.5". It was probably close to 5" before it changed to sleet and it started compacting.
PWMan
12:43 GYX update - Winter Storm Warning now for some coastal areas including Portland. Usually the kiss of death. Let the mixing begin! It's been ripping pretty well all morning. Surface temps hanging in the mid 20s. Looks to be 4-5 inches, just eyeballing it from the office window here in downtown Portland. Nice to see an overperformer for a change.

tamarack
Looks like a bit over 2" here in AUG, snowfall at the edge between mod & hvy, vis 1/4-3/8 mile. Wind remains rather light but steady NNE, temp 20. Should be a nice commute home; glad I put the balsam poplar logs in the pickup for traction last night, though not as pleased by how solidly they had been frozen to the ground. I was expecting a total mixed bag here downtown. Liquid total at PWM is 0.67, so I'd guess pretty close to 6" with light to moderate snow falling. Using a bucket loader to clear off the parking garage.
