lol yeah, it's really a horrible spot for good weather. Plymouth is the same. Hopefully wherever I end up in the next few years, it's better than either of those towns

I've actually never been to AFN or EEN. I know Plymouth kind of well...they actually do ok ahead of cutters with se winds. Sort of converging/upslope wind through the valley.

Looks like vis has not been above 1/2m since 7:45am.

Been ripping here for the past hour. 3" not accounting for comapcting

This is how it should be in these set ups, Greenfield is usually just N or the RA/SN line.

Really nice to bust on the positive side although it seems the monday modeling was fairly accurate with totals etc out here so I'm not sure how much of a bust it is. Box map from yesterday will come in right on or a little under.

House rattling thunder.... 45/44. Peak wind gust was 46 from E about an hour ago -virtually calm now as the thunderstorm gets near. 1.09 rainfall since the event started.

Looks quite good on radar down that way...good omen for a good thunderstorm season hopefully!

Lets see how far inland it can make it. Still not above freezing (31.8 last check at home). Would be nice to get a few rumbles even this far north.

You know it never changed to rain here. It redeevloped as heavy wet icy snow. At times we get light and it goes to mostly sleet. Gained another inch to 5.5 total now despite compaction. 31.6F....

I have been in two storms where Plymouth did alright: December 9, 2009, and February 25th last year. Bu.t that's it lol

3.5" IMBY, with crappy snow growth. I'd really like to be able to pull off 4"-5" but man, it's not going to happen like this

Plymouth usually does well in these SWFE CAD setups that have SE winds near the sfc, but they will really struggle with nor'easter type storms that have N to NE winds due to downsloping off of the Whites.

Funny you say that--I've had two loud rumbles that I thought were the plow coming up the street. Both times wrong, and I was wondering if maybe there were some rumbles here. I can't imagine that would be the case though.

29.9/29--temp going down instead of up.
