MarkO
Just got back form South Tewksbury, It had been snowing there. So I assume Ray has got a coating on grassy surfaces. Here in Lowell it's -sn/ip with about 1/2" or so on the ground. Seems to be melting as fast as it accumulates. Temp still holding at 33.

ORH_wxman
This stuff is compacting like a mofo, even with mangled flakes still falling...even during the aggregates 15 min ago, it was prob compacting faster than it stuck because the temp is around 32. Roads just appear to be wet. Well I'm going to get yelled at by the girlfriend. Told her it would be all rain.....oops.

mattb65
Absolutely pouring here right now. Should be awesome for everyone in the cold part of the storm. Happy for everyone who is getting some over performing snow. It seems like snow got all the way inside 128 in some places north of thr city, pretty sweet, and hopefully the next storm can be regionwide, which I'm sure everyone would hope for. Snow Bow
I just went outside to clear the driveway and almost shoveled this into a pile with the rest of the snow. If this picture doesn't paint the perfect picture of how this "winter" has gone so far I dont know what will.

Snow coming down at a good clip, though small flakes. Probably around 3" on the ground Downtown is a Pit. I think of Keene as more elevated..I guess where your folks live. I didn't relize how bad it was until I saw it on google. I'd vote for ORH too.

weathafella
Board hiatus cancel. I'm refreshed. Nice to see everyone get a nice little overperformer. Looks like we have 8-10 days of possible fun . I had 1.3 inches..but it was 32.8 and raining when i left WB Brother! I'm glad you got some snow! This system in the 2007-08 winter would have given me 3-6 but the antecedent conds for the similar storm that season were displaced 50 miles north on the coast. I like the fact that this overperformed. I agree we have some chances before things get bad again but we can always get a renegade system.

Yukon Cornelius
I had 1.75" on pavement when I left my house at 6:15 this morning... That is weird It is, and it's annoying It happens time to time where your area and Will are getting snow, and I'm getting graupel (sp?) or piss poor snow growth.
