We'll take it. Maybe we'll be saved to some degree here. I remember some winters that were supposed to torch in SNE for a week and we ended up dirty and raw with NE flow..

The day 6 thing is mildly interesting. After that, it could be stagnant ne flow. Maybe you'll be warmer than me..lol.

Are you falling into the "Day 6 Euro Coastal" trap again?

I'll be mildly interested if it shows it 5 consecutive runs.

If it's NE flow city..it means we're all locked in low clouds 37 and drizzle

Well you know the deal with op runs past day 6. But, the ensembles kind of hinted at it too. Maybe we warm for a day or two eventually if a strong low goes north. Those talking about dirty highs may be correct to a point. It depends on how if any confluence develops to our ne. If you believe the euro ensembles..it offered snow and ice chances to NNE in this pretty bad pattern coming up. Would be nice to have a -nao.

Looks like the days could be a little warmer..maybe near 40 or something, but it's probably gonna set someone up for ice in NNE.

I'm surprise at how cold it is..25F isotherm in N ORH county...probably won't happen, but it def suggests that we might not get torched to death in terms of temps in the 60s.

Maybe not. Guidance seemed to cool a bit, but the risk is there to torch. I figure one day..maybe two at some point will be mild, but I also think the CAD signal is probably gonna help people who don't want to torch. I actually kind of like that signal more and more...but still many days to go.

Tomorrow night? Looked like you could squeeze an inch or maybe two.

No, the D5 clipper...still a ways out.

The more near term stuff looks uglier...but def some weenie snow and probably some light icing over the interior for the stuff tomorrow night and Tuesday

Yeah the Friday one seems energetic. I feel like it could be one of those deals with a front coming through...but at the same time a weak low forms and maybe enhances the snow a bit. Something like a few bands of snow shwrs or squalls. Hopefully it redevelops, but I'd like to see that s/w dig more. Pretty cold system though.
