Next week ... Cold temps, but will it snow?

Liking that Monday night and tuesday trended a little colder. Now to get it to track a tad more south.

I'm taking one system at a time this upcoming week. ( even though 00Z OP ECM has the D5 clipper at sfc/aloft for friday late/night .. and better for N. of route 2 into GC and CNE verbatim attm).. plenty of time for changes. I'm thinking this solution may be a tad warm if HIPRESS sets up N. Then the torch is on the ECM.

I already have .5 to 1.0" of cement ( bullet proof) snow covering about 80% of the ground and TT at 7F/ TD -1F with an 8 mph NW breeze.

Euro starts the late week low as several inches of snow from GC west, and its a good hit C to N NY to VT, northern NH and N and W ME....

50-75 mile shift south and certainly from here to GC gets a nice snow event... so that still has potential.....

-5F now.

With Tebow out now, we're going to get all the divine intervention. More snow to come. All praise Ullr.

Well since many of the ski resorts aren't over 3,000 feet top to bottom I'm not sure how that's relevant. They'll have days of 50's up ther..and unable to make snow

Yeah that won't shut them down... most of them up north won't lose a substantial part of the base they have now I don't think.

I don't know the specifics of this possible torch because why waste a good cold week on that....

But if there is dirty high pressure over us at times...its gonna drop well below freezing on many nights in northern NE and here also probably....

Kevin's one of those selfish snow weenies that wants everyone to lose their snow if he doesn't have any.

Too bad he lives on a bump east of Hartford.

Says on the directv site a 300% increase in fees. It's the three markets that Sunbeam is in, they pulled all 3. Sadly I won't miss it, there's nothing on NBC aside of SNL of any interest at this point.

Snow....the GFS at 240 hours...you really need to squint and hold the computer sideways to take anything from it.

superbowl?

I do for one. Now you're just being rude. Go find your beach ball and sunscreen and sit with your toes in the sand and await spring Torchy.

Its going to bring me great pleasure watching your snow melt away next weekend and mrg close yet again

Now go have fun in the snow!

Do you think Pete and MPM will lose all of their snowcover in their yards?

Why don't you worry about your own snow cover. OOOOps, sorry, I forgot,

Yeah most likely... but western Mass at 1,000 ft isn't northern VT at 2,500 ft. huge difference. It's tough to take huge snow depth hits in elevation in the mountains of VT this time of year.

The east slope is very good at retaining snow.
