Is this the old man who works 12 hour days and walks to and from work?

Buck up, soldier... we all have dwindling years left.

lol....

Strange mix of emotions and tasks....after crying like a 3 yo in your quoted post I turned around and signed 50 board certification certificates.

Yes..all you guys posting how happy you are..more snow for you..you get hit again..That's great and all for you. But to be honest we don't want to read about that while we get yet another rain event in almost all of SNE..sans some ice.

If you put yourselves in our shoes, I think you'd feel the same way

No one is kicking the dirt or spiking balls, And we have been in your shoes when you were getting ku after ku in the winter of 09-10 and we went 20% below avg for the winter so i already now how it feels it sucks but there is nothing any of us can do about it, Its mother nature that has the wheel

I know we've mentioned it before, but that is where that slightly elevated CAD signature comes into play. The coldest air is actually residing at 1000-1500 ft, and hangs onto it the longest. So even if the boundary layer climbs above freezing, you can still see a decent ice event at elevation.

Pretty classic with 950 flow from the ENE too. I think what I mentioned earlier still might apply..unless this goes really north. Even if the low comes a little closer and mid levels warm, I don't think it will effect the srfc temps much in places like the ORH hills..especially nrn ones.

Actually about a year ago this month Vim Toot was in sheer agony over the snow we were getting down here vs. what was going on in his neck of the woods.

Well verification on one forecast. I predicted yesterday morning that Kevin melts down within 2 weeks. I should have said 2 days...lol...

Strange experience this morning, having to deal with icy walkways from the snow. BOS probably had measurable as they are measuring QPF.

Got my 3rd Trace for the season this AM nice to see the driveway with snow on it for once this year. rain is clearly in the cards for me with no hope of anything wintery. I really belive since last year in SNE was so awsome the lack of anyhting this year hurts even more. But o well can't wind them all
