Jebman
I got nearly 2 inches on my lawn - I CAREFULLY measured it - That is about 2 inches ON TOP of the grass 30 degrees and mod snow NWS needs to learn how to forecast precip types - 40 percent chance of RAIN SHOWERS LMFAO

Bob Chill
And just like that. Amongst all the angst and despair.....people saying it would be a shutout this year......no chance of snow before mid-month and maybe not till Feb........68 degrees and shorts on Saturday........and we book our first accum snow of the winter. Next!

Jebman
It's not the forecasted snows that are remembered and enjoyed near as much, as the SURPRISE storms like this one!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I expected RAIN today - I know I live in the tropics and this is a La Nina winter. I got the shock of my life earlier today when I was deep in social media - debating the finer points of reaching audiences with Valeria Maltoni and Steve Rubel with disruptive technologies when for some reason I glanced out the window and saw the "rain" that NWS forecasted for today. Symblized
Second observable dusting of the season here in downtown Baltimore, but I wouldn't even give it a 0.1. Still nothing measurable yet this season for my location (all rain for the October storm).
Redmorninglight
Hello DC/Balt people, we are near a half of an inch of snow here and it looks like a stripe of heavier snow coming over the Delaware Bay soon. Hope to get an inch or more. JB may have been right for our area too. It was 63 here Sat with a 45 degree ocean less than a mile away. Now snow, pretty fun.
