nw baltimore wx
Wes busted! You're neighbor called. They want the grill cover out of their yard. Very few here have earned the privilege of trolling Wes. You and I are not part of that few.

clskinsfan
Just had an interesting drive from Woodbridge to Winchester. Was snowing in Woodbridge at 10 this morning. Drove from there to Manassas where it snowed the remainder of the day. Took 66 from Manassas to my home NW of Winchester. Snow was coming down nicely on 66 from Manassas to Route 17 where I exited. Probably about a half inch accum in that area. Snow intensity dropped off further North I got. About 8 miles SW of my home the snow stopped and I have nada here. Was cool to see the cutoff happen. CoastalWx
Wow those are nice pics. A few days ago...or whenever it was, there was a ribbon of some good mid level RH just near and north of the QPF, indicative of some mid level frontogenesis. It was one of those things that the QPF was hinted at, but other things sort of argued for something as well.

Mrs.J
Looks like you all to the South hit the tripple Cherries jackpot. We occasionally have the odd speck fly by, you have to squint to see it, and the wind has picked up a bit. Thinking that my husbands drive up 270 will be somewhat decent tonight. Jebman
30 degrees and heavy snow. Some of the flakes are nearly two inches across. An inch to an inch and a half of snow on lawns. Roads, sidewalks, EVERYTHING is turning white. This is starting to look pretty bad. Rush hour is HELL

HM JB>Ian you're an asshat. i dont think anyone said it was going to snow all day besides jb. hm did a good job. oftentimes mets outside the region don't forecast this region well. it was colder than i expected for sure though yesterday i said if we only got to 40ish it was a game changer potentially.
