That huge PNA is the only thing keeping us from torching. It's crazy how all of the cold air is on the complete opposite side of the us. The amplification looks just strong enough for us to get something going though though temps still look seasonable at best under the huge PNA ridge.

and once that ridge goes away, it's a torchathon. Litchfield Libs will be in his glory with 10 threads about it

WOuld you please for the love of Joseph Bastardi, please, please stop. When its a torch I talk about torches, when it snows I talk about snow.

THis winter has been a furnace, chasing all of the weenie threats that models have fantasized about over the last 3 months just does not do it for me. I prefer reality. If its sunny and 50 I like it, if its 28 and snow I love it. Later next week is a real threat, not a dream, but a threat. Read HM's posts in the main thread, listen to others.

This pna spike has a chance, a real chance. Enjoy the blowtorch tomorrow.

Had a coating of snow this morning although the p-type is back to rain. The surface temperatures appear to be colder than expected and will probably stay chilly through the first half of tonight, although the warmth is still on track for tomorrow morning/early afternoon with highs in the low 60s. If we're not getting the snow at least we have the warmth...
