That's what she said.

Off topic, but is anyone else having issues lately with the slowness of the NCEP site?

Its been terrible as of late. If your on a older chip-set or lack in the RAM department, a look-up and crash is highly likely..Don't even attempt the MAG on a Net Book. I boycotted the site and switched to COD..

MKX saying more about this storm now:

Quote:

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MILWAUKEE/SULLIVAN WI

954 PM CST MON JAN 9 2012

.UPDATE...MINOR TWEAKS TO OVERNIGHT LOW TEMPS IN A FEW AREAS...BUT

IN GENERAL NO MAJOR CHANGES. NEAR RECORD WARMTH LOOKS LIKELY FOR

TUE WITH PARTLY TO MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES.

STILL EXPECT A SIGNIFICANT CHANGE TO TAKE PLACE WED NGT AND THU AS

MUCH COLDER AIR BARRELS IN BEHIND STRENGTHENING LOW PRESSURE OVER

THE GREAT LAKES. WHILE 00Z NAM STILL LOOKING FAIRLY BENIGN...

EARLIER GFS AND ECMWF RUNS SHOW POTENTIAL FOR ACCUMULATING SNOW

OVER ERN CWA WED NGT INTO THU AS TRENDING TOWARD SLOWER AND

STRONGER LOW PRESSURE OVER LOWER MI. GEM NOT QUITE AS STRONG BUT

TRENDING THIS WAY AS WELL. IF THIS CONTINUES...NEXT SHIFT/S/ WILL

LIKELY BE BUMPING UP POPS AND SNOW AMOUNTS IN EAST FOR WED NGT AND

THU.
