brad1551
I know the disappointment is in the air on how awful our winter has been. I was feeling good back on Saturday when some models were showing snow potentials coming up. Now they look like a memory.
Bodhi Cove
Hi everyone. My apologies if this isn't being posted in the correct forum and hopefully someone will be able to assist me in a hunt of sorts. My employer (who knows I'm a weather weenie) asked me to collect storm info on the system which rolled through the BWI area Friday morning (Jan 27 at 9:00 a.m.) Specifically, there was a special weather statement for Mariners released at 8:58 a.m. which made reference to lightning strikes and suggesting mariners remain below deck and avoid contact with metal. From what I can recall, that weather statement was set to expire about 90 minutes later. I've spent the last 3 hours collecting info from various weather stations and even found the archived radar for that date. I'm usually a pretty good slueth, but I've hit a wall in regards to the Special Weather Advisory for Mariners. Any help, guidance or person to contact would be very helpful. Thank you

Bodhi Cove
Ellinwood I LOVE YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *happy dance* Seriously, THANK YOU so much.. I was all over the NWS site, but everytime I thought I'd find it in this location or that location ( hunt and peck method) I kept coming up with nothing. I'll save that link to my files so I won't need to bother anyone, should the powers that be ask me to go hunting again. Once again, thank you! Fozz
Surprisingly, BWI only ranked 26th in the warmest January's ever list. Well, we did have a few cold snaps, including that 12 degree morning, and a snowfall that didn't melt in 24 hours.
