But at least maybe it will help people get over the Ravens loss.

Concern is for icy spots in the morning... ok. maybe it will turn out warranted, but seems to be a stretch at the moment this freezing drizzle warrants everyone coming into work 2 hours late. BTRWx
Concrete surfaces are mainly wet, but every few steps I could hear a slight crunching.
Avdave
I find it hard to beleive that roads are icy. After all the salt they dumped on them fri night and sat morning, the roads are fine. Anything untreated sure but roads are fine. LOL at the feds, what a joke to tell all employees to stay off the road till 9am,
Bob Chill
Walking dog now. Sidewalks are getting pretty slippery. Dog slipping around is kinda funny. Roads are only wet.

H2O
Just got back from Leesburg and roads are fine. Sidewalks were only wet and drizzle was spotty both to leesburg and back. Temps stayed 30 or below. Seems an overreaction by the Feds IMO.

I got in about an hour ago and things just seemed wet. No jokes please.
TradeWinds
we're even wussier than usual in this terrible winter +1. Being from Pittsburgh, I have to laugh how wussy people from this region are. Here, adults panic by the word "ice".

I would be willing to bet its not really people FROM this area that are the biggest issue, but the fact that their are a lot of people from the south, and foreigners from areas that don't see much snow and ice. vern
I would like to thank you, the U.S. taxpayer for making it possible for me to sleep in late tomorrow. In return I promise to work hard if and/or when I manage to get through this frightful mist and arrive at my workplace.

Good catch on my words. In fact, I've often said the exact same thing. I have a friend here from South Carolina and he still won't leave the house if there is more than an inch. Got into one fender bender and says cars cannot be controlled in any wintry weather. Uh, ok.

Eskimo Joe
New Orleans for the AMS meeting. Awesome, have fun! Almost an eerie fog here in Westminster. Eskimo Joe
Within the past 30min or so the fog really thickened up and the temperature has dropped a degree. CranberryWX
A warm 54 and rain this morning...high wind advisory until 9PM. Looks Like a repeat of last week when the squall line came through. April weather continues. My crocuses are blooming and the daffodils are 4" out of the ground.
WinterWxLuvr
Really strange weather obs this morning. The temp has just gone above freezing, and it sounds like the worlds largest bowl of rice crispies out there. Nothing falling from sky or trees, I guess its the ice starting to melt on top of the snow. Wild.
Fozz
Extremely foggy outside......visibility is bad enough that I can't see more than two houses down.....probably just a few hundred feet. Temp is 32.
H2O
other than ice flying off cars that some were too lazy to clean the drive in was no biggie. no drizzle here just plenty of salt spray off the roads. 32F
showmethesnow
Foggy, misty and a temp @ 27. Up only a 1/2 degree from around 4 this morning. Out and about around 5 and the major roads were fine. Secondaries were a little iffy with some left over slush from the snow and a glaze on top.
