Thought I'd start this. We have a med/long range storm thread already. I didn't see a place yet for daily obs.

Light snow falling out here this morning. Very light, flurries, very fluffy flakes.

Here also. My brother is actually in Canaan this week. Looking forward to seeing some pics.

Batch of flurries and snow showers rolling through Frederick. Nothing significant but after the mild Dec, feels odd to see them. Wind is the real story!

I'm worried about BB's grill cover. I think he said that he was going away so hopefully he has someone watching the house.

Blustery and chilly in Columbia.

With 75mph gusts on the vantage pro I'm worried about his grill going with it too. Someone should call his neighbors if the power is still on after 100 year old trees came crashing down.

Ditto to that!

37.6 at 12:30pm is hi for day so far IMBY.

a.m. low 33.5

Sky definitely has the look of where I would not be surprised to be seeing some flurries at some point. Radar looks patchy ... but what's hitting the ground ?

Really ripping snow now in western md.

http://honi-honi.com shows it pretty good

Nice, they really need the snow for a good season at Wisp. I ski there once a winter and rent a place on the lake with some buddies. We went at the end of January last year and the lake was completely frozen over (vs. the lake on the cam now and it's not frozen over).
