Seems as if the torch in southeastern areas underperformed today, the weather station at Blue Hill is only at 43.8 which really isn't that bad.

Its 42.8 here at home right now. Took a ride down to Hingham/Norwell it was 45 in Weymouth and 52 on the Hingham/Norwell line. It started to warm immediately at the braintree split, so thats where the warm front reached at its NW extent.

Continued CAA with strong winds after the FROPA. Temperature topped out at 39.7° F as the front came through and we mixed out. Now beginning our descent toward freezing in a few hours. I posted more about it in the SWFE thread.

Based on the upstream radars, there appears to be some weak deformation and wrap around moisture in the CAA. As such, I'm liking the probability of some upslope precip for the Berks and Greens this evening. Initially it could be a bit warm here for snow, but snow showers seem like a decent bet here through the evening as we drop. There could be a coating to an inch here with 1-3" for the southern and central Greens. Someone in the northern Greens could upslope all night and get a 4"+ event.

THe spike's still taking place here, Mitch.Up about 4* (that's 37.5, Ray. :) )in the last half hour, but the wind's really gusting so I think the drop down is imminent.

The windex parameters are pretty high on the NAM for late Sunday night. I'd like to see it produce some good lift, but just looking at the typical parameters of lapsre rates, LI spike, and moisture, you would think that snow squalls would be easy to come by.
