Snow Bow
I hate deer and if the herd that's been terrorizing every single shrub in my backyard doesn't move on, I'm going to start eating my own plants just to spite them. I've had 3 or 4 of them eating my arbor vitae border in my yard. Bought some deer repellent from agway and it seems to be doing the trick so far. I know your an avid gardener so i would assume im not telling you anything you don't already know.

ski MRG
That's all your property? Or do you just ski through people's yards and they don't mind?
ski MRG
Some of the young guns on my crew trying to jig up some lunch before the snow moved in. About 13" of ice on the lake, thin by normal standards.
cheetah440
The top photo is part of my property, the bottom photo is No.1 fairway of the Worthington Golf course. Most land owners around here have trails that they allow people to ski and snowmachine on. You are thinking 'yard' when you should be thinking large tracts of land. 10, 20, or 100+ acres are common parcel sizes.in addition there are 1000's of acres of state and federal wildlife management land that surround me. Oddly enough most of the trails lead to the bar. LOL, hey I know that place. ;-) Great week up in N conway, just came back from ice skating and sleigh ride at Nestlenook. Wonderful day today. cheetah440
Cheetah, any sledding? Anywhere? No we didn't do any sledding up here this time. We went to Cranmore and Adrienne did a bit of walking around in her skis, a little glidding. Did the same up at Black (love that place, nice old school feel). Snow was bullet proof and not the best for this but was fun. Had a nice time getting away and down time.

It has been a while since we've had a +30 day. The last one... BOS... 1/6/2007, 69/51 (+31) BDL... 1/6/2007, 72/49 (+35) PVD... 1/6/2007, 64/54 (+30) ORH... 1/8/2008, 62/46 (+30) And if you want to see something really ugly, look at 3/31/1998... BOS was 89/60. Widespread 80s that day - even into GC as the Worthington co-op hit 81. ORH also had a +37 on 12/29/1984 with a high/low of 70/55.

wxeyeNH
Light to moderate freezing rain 30.7F After a couple of inches of snow precip overnight slowly translated to sleet and freezing rain. Clinch Leatherwood
Busting through 50 here maybe will attempt 60 but unlikely. The 7 day forecast from NOAA has 1 day near normal, 6 well above. When's this pattern change coming?
CoastalWx
Folks out western NE and up into NNE may get a few SHSN or squalls coming through later tomorrow. Doesn't seem windex-like around these parts. Maybe the next one will drop some SHSN, Monday evening.

Cold Miser
In the middle of a meeting at work, and the sound of pouring rain is heard. Someone says, "Wow, it's really coming down out there." The next person says, "Yes. But we're lucky it's not snow.". All 10 people in the room give out a chuckle except me.

bch2014
Seems as if the torch in southeastern areas underperformed today, the weather station at Blue Hill is only at 43.8 which really isn't that bad.
HoarfrostHubb
BOX's trusty p-n-c had me at 49F... so far today, 37.9 for the high at home. Tremendous rain, though
40/70 Benchmark
Kind of ironic that the warm air almost perfectly outlines the area that received the heavy snow totals last week.
