It's amazing how different the climate is in the hills. Look at Pete with his snow.

Meanwhile a 100 or so miles away my lawn is still green. It's crazy.

I just got back from Boston and there was liitle left for snow cover until you got W. of the Ct River.

Greenfield is about 95 mi. form Boston and my yard is at about 80-90% snowcover. Southern exposures are less though.

28/23, a high of 30. X-country/snowmachine trails holding the snow. I went for a nice long ski tour a little while ago and things are groomed out nicely. Worked my way along a ridge at 1700-1800' and eventually came out at the Worthington Golf Club. We put #1 fairway to good use when the clubs are hanging. The ice fishing has been productive. Good Winter sports fun to be had. Torch smorch.

That's all your property? Or do you just ski through people's yards and they don't mind?

8 hours? It takes 4 hours to drive there and i go about twice a month.. and yes when you go out the backdoor there there is an endless network of trails.. Im not talking about mall parking lots most of my yard is pretty shaded there are bare spots but also spots with a couple inches

Eastern Quebec is nice but far from real God's country. I prefer stepping out the backdoor and onto an endless network of trails to driving 8 hrs once a year. Dirty piles in mall parking lots don't count.

gonna stay up by my lonesome another 15 min watcht the steady light snow coat the landscape then sleep till 1130 or so (day off) :)

but this band of sn- is aimed right at me

i would think with a neutral but slightly rising pna and an AO around -2 (lowest since last january)

there is still room for the euro yes king euro to cave more to the nam/gfs low placement (2'ndry development) and be icy for the interior tomm nite.

lite SE/E winds turning NNE as the secondary gets going fri am.......locks ice/sleet /snow in down thru SNH? hey why not weaker more sheared LP on the table IMO

nice lil band from ORH to 128 N of city ....S to belmont

looks like winter at least

let's call it the "seeder -feeder surprise"

The euro actually had very light QPF (well most models did, but it was more widespread) and there was a ribbon of good mid level RH. I mentioned some very light snow was possible yesterday morning, but this is very minor stuff.

The top photo is part of my property, the bottom photo is No.1 fairway of the Worthington Golf course. Most land owners around here have trails that they allow people to ski and snowmachine on. You are thinking 'yard' when you should be thinking large tracts of land. 10, 20, or 100+ acres are common parcel sizes.in addition there are 1000's of acres of state and federal wildlife management land that surround me. Oddly enough most of the trails lead to the bar.
