Last year had 55+ days of snowcover here in a row, this year about 55 hours total, some nice nitrogen has been delivered into the soil, veggie garden on south side of house will be warm today, going to till in some compost turn the dirt over and edge the garden getting it ready for spring which is only 36 days away, hard to believe!!

Cant wait for veggies!!

Wow, I have a 1/2" layer of mud then frost, you are in the MA climo wise.

41.9F and most of the snow gone in the Monadnocks....Just patches and piles now in most places, light cover in the forest.

Wow I thought you would have most of it left, but you are further south than me. Up to 36.3 here with fog and sun, don't really see that too often up here.

Still have snow on the roofs here and about 4.5 otg, just waiting now for the sun to go down and turn what's left after today into cement.

I record the soil temps at 4" and at 8" and both are frozen here.

Still have patches of snow where I had some left over from last week outside of the small banks. I should have gone out there on Sunday with a hose and put a glaze layer on everything. lol

Yeah soil depth is frozen way down..and noone is going to be turning any soil over and is why we won't see any pics posted.

On my drive into Windsor, I came the back way thru East Windsr..and there is still 2-3 inches of snow in most areas..In this case valley FTW..about the only time you can ever say that

Does it have anything to do with key players not showing up for a full game lately.

Some random guy from Pratt and whitney telling me my uconn education doesn't mean anything and companies would rather hire kids without degrees or community college grads. Out of nowhere. Wtf

Oh and the only reason anyone knows of uconn is football, bball ans disorderly conduct

Box is fine with me bro.

Weird, I cant get it on my phone or my computer.

Maybe it's something to do with my service provider, Ill try turning wireless on my phone off and see if it works with verizons network.

Edit: Worked with verizon network, must be something with comcast in my area.

Leaves and grass clippings I had mixed in the soil last fall already paying dividends, shovel went through the soil this morning like butter. Back garden had a layer of frozen earth in the shade about 1 inch thick should be able to turn that by tomorrow. Soil is rich and full of nutrients this year, cant wait for the veggie garden later this spring going to add a few new things which I am very excited about!

I hope everyone get s a chance to get out and enjoy this very spring like day!! Back to the tilling!

It certainly isn't unscathed here, but it is still white. Probably 3 to 5 inches of corn snow and I doubt much more will melt with temps holding in the mid/upper 30's. Useless though for any winter pursuits...need something to break our way soon.

Interesting ride this AM. Left the glen with 32* and everything locked up, icy roads. Popped to 37 at 1700' and 39 at 2k although it has now slipped to 37. Snowpack pretty much unscathed so far. The glaze will work wonders. The trail groomer was out in Worthington. Hoping things break snowier.

Haha awesome, Kev said we wouldn't see any pics. That's the one thing about winter that makes me miss spring. Getting the garden ready.

It's pretty tough here when every week we get a torch to 50+ in western NY. I manage to hang onto the cold much longer, but eventually it has to break through for awhile on west or southwest winds. It looks like I went to bed at 37 around midnight and at some point it spiked to 45 and was back down to mid 30's around 8:00 AM.

My driveway was a skating rink when I left this morning and roads were a mess. Currently bkn skies with fog here at con but at home it is 34 with minimal snow loss I presume.

This winter will go down as an unmitigated torch overall marked by a couple period of cold--cold in a sea of warmth...

Sun's out here now. approaching 40F

Just noticed the same here. Depressingly up to 40.3 I knew I couldn't escape this without cracking the 40 mark. At least we will only see the warm temps for several hours, it could have been in the 40's all night like most places around us.
