Mr Torchey
This winter has been incredible!!!!! BOS PVD ORH BDL and GODS COUNTRY all well below normal and have had double the average snowfall, its truly been epic. Those that say its been one of the warmest 5 month stretches of all time with equally as impressive negative snowfall departures have lost there minds. ski MRG
Things should turn around in Feb, looking forward to some real winter like weather for more than just a day or two, and actually seeing some snow not 1.2 inches of slush or 3 inches over the first half of winter. Sure our good friend Pete will come in to say how great its been, the numbers dont lie, orh is the only major climo of the big 4 with more than 5 inches of snow more than half way in now. Im done arguing truth and facts, we all want snow it is what it is. Just got in from a quick ski tour. It's good to set tracks while it's briefly above freezing. By morning everything will be locked up tight and new snow will be falling. While you and Scott talk endlessly about torches and + departures some of us continue to enjoy Winter and all its activities. Where were you when it was -15 yesterday morning? ski MRG
Who cares what's the departure for the month in Boston, ORH and Providence...where the people live not the moose. I couldn't give a rat's azz what happens in the I-95 corridor, Boston, ORH, Providence. I don't even feel sorry for you. It's a free country, you can choose where to live. If you choose to live somewhere that is prone to crappy Winters buck up and take it like a man. I choose a snowier road in life.

Mr Torchey
Rightly so Totally agree, but dont come in gloating how great it is at your location while the majority suffers, especially when he is WAY below snowfall and WAY above normal temps for the last 5 months running, its a joke and waste of time. It was cute how excited he got, like a kid. Rightly so well, I hope you get snow Ginxxx as you are true blue. At 51+" so far I don't think WAY below is really an accurate statement.
Ginx snewx
The funny thing is besides Joe, PF, Phil, Pete no one here can get thumped alone. The rest of us if we get thumped most everyone else in our region does. It's the great thing about NE. Phil, Joe could get two feet while I smoke cirrus, PF and Pete get a foot while I get cold and dry.

Because your sweeping statements don't apply to ALL of SNE and posters from outside the region will think it's brown and dreary everywhere when in fact there is a snowy Nirvana existing here. -15 yesterday my torchy friend. ski MRG
Pete, where was that? It was a low spot (1100') in West Worthington. There were pockets of dd below, I was surprised I didn't drop that low but there must have been just enough wind at my place to prevent it. Still, I was well below 0.
