ORH_wxman
Meh... only 3-4" IMBY Same over in Gardner Probably more in Ashburnham since they did well with the fropa Friday That equates to "plenty of snowpack" in the relative scheme of things. You know its bad when powderfreak's bedroom community in N VT only has 10" of snow pack this late.

HIPPYVALLEY
There should have been plenty of snow pack around Rt 2 in N ORH county...we still have like 2-3" of concrete here and I'm well south of Rt 2. Oh' yeah, of course. There were some noticeable difference though in the ride from Gardenr through the hilltowns. Snow everywhere but it really was more noticeable on the trees and bushes once you got over the French King Bridge.

Oh yeah, that's probably because of the squalls on Friday...we didn't get much from those...but the places that did, still have a "fresher" looking snow on the bushes. Very little fell here on Friday, but Westminster/Ashburnham/Gardner had a nice band I drove through. 3.2F/-4F

weatherMA
From his location, I would have thought rt 2...but yeah, if he took the pike, then there is probably not much snow cover down there...though there should be some in Auburn and Charlton. I was in Auburn at a family friends today...there was about 2" of crust just like there is here in Shrewsbury. More exposed areas have grass just like here in Shrewsbury from when it got up to 39-40 briefly Friday morning.

You might get below zero tonight while I rot at like 1F or 2F. Perfect setup for that. I bet I could probably drive down to Indian Lake early tomorrow morning and have it be well below zero there while its above zero on the hill. ChrisM
Fairbanks hit -48 yesterday. I remember when MBY hit -43 a few years back, it was pretty cold. JK, I live in CT. I think I've seen 2 degrees once or twice. Getting out of this hole the second I graduate college. Idc where I go, be it VT, NH or out west. Just not in CT. I had more fun in VT in two days than I have in the last year in CT. I've always had the best times up there, and I get really weird and almost misty eyed when I leave even though it's only a few hour drive back. Just something different about life up there...graduation on May 9th, 2013. Moving day May 10th. Bring it the F on.

weathafella
As it turns out I was out a lot today. I was at a play today at Pine Manor College. I had to leave at intermission and walked a mile to the T stop, then walked another mile to my friends house to catch our Giants kicking Green Bay's butt today. Earlier, I walked in the woods with the dog happily running ahead..finally in her kind of wx. I didn't think I would enjoy all of it as much as I did. Full on winter day. I walked home a mile around 8 and will walk the dog for an hour within the next hour or 2. I can't deny it...cold and sometimes painful but its winter and that's my season. Long live winter!
