I went in thinking it would be a very good season, too. I think every met thought this would be at least a decent winter. We knew we were due for a clunker, but at the same time..it seemed like the odds of getting at least slightly above avg were pretty good. Things started to get concerning in Oct. The stats were beginning to suggest the NAO would be positive. In November, things got very concerning and most people started pulling the plug on December and part of Jan. I am so freaking pumped. Felger and Mazz should have Cory on for good luck again this week. Oh, and that discussion about not going because of the cold weather held up yesterday. I was sweating at times last night. As long as you layer up you cannot feel the cold at all. 6 degrees out now. And I have a nice crusty snowpack.
