I wish the Euro was right on the zero degree day it projects out in La La land, I want to hear people piss and moan about 2 degrees with winds gusting to 40.

I'm sure people will. We have them all in this bunch. I just roll with what I'm given. If it's going to be 60F on Jan 7th, might as well make the most of it.

Underforecast warmth today--upton had us at 52, we're at 62 right now.

Wow what a difference between SNE and NNE. I just got back from WFO BTV and we were talking about how warm it was down south but I didn't realize it was 60s.

We have a special weather statement for freezing rain as around 1pm a shower moved through at 30F. High of 32F so far though I'm just about to cross over to 33F. Snowpack isn't going anywhere right now here in the valleys thanks to the inversion. 1,500ft hit 40F though pre-dawn this morning.

Today's and new monthly departures:

BOS +16 (+5.5)

BDL +17 (+6.8)

PVD +16 (+4.6)

ORH +23 (+6.4)

THAT is absolutely incredible..........even with the coldest weather of the season this week we still managed those numbers through day 7.

What a torch, actually its been an absolute torch temp wise for 4 years now, but nobody ever talks about.......we have been really really warm.

Fooking Lakes Region. Luckily I have brown ground, or I would have been pretty upset.

You should come up and enjoy this sort of abuse in April/May. Nothing like it being 43 here and 60+ south and east of CON. Makes me rage so hard.

You also have your first icy lake breeze to look forward too in late May if we get an 80+ day.

30F, off a high of 33F and a low of 17F down here in the village.

Awaiting this mess... big bright banding just moving into the area. 29F at 4,000ft but 35F at 1,600ft... so we'll see what falls here. I'd imagine this dynamically cools over to wet snow and the warm layer in the mid elevations washes out.

Or do we shoot up as the inversion breaks and we go from 30F to 35F in like 10 minutes once it starts precipitating?

Nice cold air drain (relativley cold, I guess) down the valley this evening.

How warm did you get today? I peaked at 46 though it hit 50 in town briefly.

Took a drive with the family looking for the Money Pit but wasn't sure which was house was yours. Are you on Lil' Mohawk or Frank Williams? Beautiful views up there today.
