We got pounded overnight, looks like at least a heavy dusting. I'm betting about 1/3 of an inch of blinding powder. Cars are spun out everywhere and all through the streets you can hear people muttering about "pattern change" is here.

The shear ferocity of this winter has caught many off guard. I feel like I live in Gods Country with all the snow we've received this year between OES and now this death front. Our bog now has a thin sheet of ice on it. Last few years we were bored from skating by now, within a month we should be able to send midgets and halflings onto the ice.

Great stuff!! Congrats so good to see MOST get snow, well modeled over night..........48 and sunny here today, lowest temp over the next 5 will be 29 on SUnday night mega mega + departures coming for all 4 sne climo sites, going to enjoy the torch I truly think warm temps are over for good.

Hope we can get snow down here one day, sitting on 1.5 inches which occured way back in October, since then nadda.

Enjoy the snow

1.5? Even BDR reported 4. I had at least 4 on this end of town.

Yep 1.5 here on the sand, it rained most of the day before flipping back later with no additional accumulations, I wish I could lie and say more but that was not the case:(

makes sense given how borderline it was....I have to question the 4 at BDR though...they are out on the penisula and should have seen what you saw or less.

we had brief period of rain here, then 2 or 3 hours of heavy snow which gave us the 4 inches, then rain, then back to light snow....

Doesn't even matter. The 20+ inches I got in Oct are long gone. An amazing event, but it did not last

Even the first Oct event (the 27th) gave me more than Nov, Dec, and so far this month

The Success Hill co-op site which is listed at an elevation of 75 feet compared to BDR's 5, and just inland, also recorded exactly 4.0 inches of snow. That was a hard storm to measure, and was the type of storm where following the rules of snowfall measurement makes a big difference due to the frequent changeovers and well above freezing temperatures along the coast.
