moneypitmike
Light to mod snow all day and you have a dusting??? WTF Light snow--moderate at times-- Increasing sun angle must be slowing accumulation. lol He's probably calling flurries light snow and calling light snow moderate snow. We've all been affected by this year but when you have a qpf fetish it's even worse. I'm enjoying my 10 vis blizzard as I type! My qpf fetish actually has my assessments go the other way. Almost measurable!! Wound up with .5" or so. I call that a dusting, 26.8/

moneypitmike
Hey, take what you can get right now. I'm basking in the glory of every tenth of an inch that falls today! I'm totally psyched by how my "mostly sunny day" turned out. I told my wife that at least it's looking a little wintery for a a while. My dusting comment was in reference to those who had a sunny day mocking the snow I got. I do call .5" a dusting, but then again I don't bother shoveling anything less than 3". ski MRG
25/17, windy, flurries. Nice snow all afternoon with a couple up high and an 1" here. Ice fishing now in full swing. We've put down some ice with the lower temps of late.

moneypitmike
Dailies bdl+5 orh+2 bos+2 pvd0 I suspect I might have had a negligible + departure at the Pit as well: high of 29.6, low of 17.3. But the snow made up for it. 26.2/

ORH_wxman
The cold shot iced over the last remaining open spots on Indian Lake here as well. Saw some skaters out there today on it, but not sure I'd go on the parts that just recently froze..might still be too thin. But at least it sort of looks like winter with the entire lake frozen now. ski MRG
Block heater FTL. Friends lost 6 trucks and a warehouse full of plywood and sheetrock. They didn't miss a beat, open for business first thing in the morning. Good bunch of resilient New Englanders.

Great display of community as two other local lumberyards loaned them trucks and some stock so they wouldn't miss a beat. Very neighborly, the opposite of OT. I'm more upset by the injustice. I did absolutely nothing wrong. I count many of the SNE crew as friends and this forum is all I'm really interested in. We have the best group on the board. Very interesting sociological case study in there though.lol
powderfreak
Mid-day. Can't quite see the guys out on the ice but they were chasing flags all afternoon. Nice Pete... looks quite wintery there. Similar day up here with periods of light snow. This was down in town around 10:30am as a heavier burst was moving through. Dendrites were absolutely enormous... great high-ratio snow growth. ORH_wxman
We might get more weenie flakes with WAA later tonight, but I'm not sure we see anything measurable. Maybe further north in the Greens they pick up another inch or something. But we are going to be fighting a dry boundary layer in the 850-950mb range. This was down in town around 10:30am as a heavier burst was moving through. Dendrites were absolutely enormous... great high-ratio snow growth. It's getting better. The skiing has been pretty good surprisingly. Some of these smaller mountains can really light it up. Looking forward to getting some real action soon. Regardless, I'm going to split for AK. BIG year there, can't miss it.

TalcottWx
You ok powder puff, you seem uptight? I am bored out of my mind. I have nothing to do rather than sit on this board and things are slow. I usually have a crazy schedule and barely have time to read the board at all. Now I am sitting here getting to read every little single nuance of every post and poster. I'm rotting away into azzholeness.
