Mr Torchey
LOL I know its funny, +5 or so tomorrow then upper 40s for friday and forecast of 50 on Saturday with nightime lows in the 30s, thats +14++ type stuff. Couple spots may be below normal tomorrow the further north you get, but after that when will the next below normal day be?

HoarfrostHubb
Cant whine, high temp for the day down this way should be around midnight, it goes both ways. No whining... Monday felt a bit chilly as the day wore on. Just saying. It is what it is. Do you think that next week (after Monday) looks +5 or so all around? Tropopause_Fold
Upper 40's Friday and 50's on Saturday? Where DC and Philly? i think friday and saturday...and maybe sunday as well...could end up relatively mild. i don't think widespread double digit + numbers but should be above normal. i could see 50s in SW CT though. that's not unheard of. Yeah down there in the warmer climes sure it might tickle 50 on Saturday but certainly most of SNE only sees high in the upper 30's to near 40 Frday and mid 40's Saturday

Mr Torchey
There is NOTHING to talk about. (the weather is beyond awful) i will jut let the numbers speak for themselves after day 7..........I hope things change, but I certainly do not see Kevins call for a solidly below normal week one coming to fruition, it would take some serious divine intervention. Yeah it's the last fairly mild day before the complete pattern change takes over. Hopefully after the cold front goes thru Sat nite..the Sunday deal ends up doing something. Gibbs on board for big pattern change which is all we really need
Mr Torchey
So flippin' boring... Oct>Nov->Jan WRT snow. That blows Its unthinkable. I am sitting at 1.5 inches of snow for the year. Was the October snow worth it?? Seems pretty useless to me, was incredible from a met standpoint especially since it occured during an all out mega torch. Brown ground and dry cold just does not do it for me, but I understand a lot of folks like that.

The change is going to happen as far as ridging into AK...that's not the question. I just hope the -PNA isn't too strong, but I think we'll all agree that it's a hell of a lot better than what we had. I just hope the ridge is strong enough to keep cold air coming and suppress the storm track. That's my question.
Mr Torchey
So flippin' boring... Oct>Nov->Jan WRT snow. That blows Highlight of the winter so far was the wind event a couple weeks ago, thats pretty sad, I understand its been an all out winter assault in Gods country, I know its convenient to post pics of ice on a pond after a very cold evening, even though the entire weekend was warm and rainy and I had posted pics of pathetic open ice lakes at 1740'asl. I know its fun to comment how the ski season has been incredible, even though every piece of evidence refutes that, is MRG even open yet? I love to weenie it up.........I had a ball last winter, and I hope the pattern changes for Feb, but beware of the SE ridge. I am cranky as hell, I want snow, cold and dry sucks azz, period. CoastalWx
All we need is Gibbs on board. Once he agrees it's a lock Well the pattern or regime change was on the table, but again...I want to see how the PNA looks. If you get your rocks off on mix stuff...then you'll have fun I guess, but I'm hoping for more snow...therefore I just want to make sure storm track will be far enough south. That is the question. The chances are increased, no doubt.

CoastalWx
You are a worry wart. Wait until you have kids. You're in deep trouble LOL, no I'm not, but my yellow flags have worked pretty darn well so far. Maybe I'm picky. You're acting like it's a lock for Jan 2010 all over again. I said it is a regime change, but all I'm saying is that I hope the storm track is more like 2007 and 2008 style. I can easily say we'll have colder air..that's not a bold call. I'm just thinking about results.
