CoastalWx
Since this wind picked up, it's really dropping. Man it's nasty out. 17F with gusts to 30kts. What a great delivery of cold to Logan too. 330 wind is straight from NNE with little downsloping.

weatherMA
not bad .. a degree colder than ORH 15.6 / -2 Not gonna lie... I usually use the local wxbug and it usually lines up exactly with you but not tonight I guess haha. I have a crap household thermometer that I don't usually even bother to check. I just got a small basic wx station for like $150 so once I set that up it will be more accurate.

HoarfrostHubb
Yeah, we would have laughed at this in Jan '04. Now that, was cold. Saw -18.4F here that month Coldest I ever recorded here. The only time I have seen colder was up in Island Pond Vt when I saw -30F (owner of that house saw -40F once) Tonight is mildly chilly. ChrisM
How is the workplace going? 100% open, lots of snow. Full park, moguls being seeded as we speak. Side to side coverage on every trail. Management did some spying yesterday, more cars in our lot than Butternut, Catamount, Southington and Mohawk (all of our local competition). Got offered a new position as a snowmaker/terrain park attendant but that might have to wait until college calms down or is over. Life is good. moneypitmike
Certainly not the coldest night ever, but it is nippy. Sitting by the stove, coyote howling non-stop out there. Nice change of pace. 8.8/-
dendrite
What are you thinking for winds tomorrow into tomorrow night? Much calmer than tonight? The problem tomorrow night will be clouds from WAA aloft. There should be high clouds moving in during the day tomorrow with BKN/OVC skies tomorrow night. Winds will lighten up, but there will be little radiational cooling.

wxeyeNH
2.3F temperature drop slowing. 0F ish should be my low. Buring the wood fast, both 2 wood burning stoves going. -19F is my record low at my location, long way to go for that. Actually a 0F Jan night is not that uncommon for me.
