CapturedNature
I'm thinking 3-5F tonight Down to 18.9 FTW I think we'll easily hit that...dew point is down in the single numbers. I was wondering what the temps were above me...I know my station over in Union runs warm on sunny days due to solar heating issues (ftw, the housing is too small) and it was reading 19.6°. ChrisM
? Mass isn't even a small state and that is not a big temp spread. If you are talking Rhode Island with -5 in the Hills and 38 on the coast on the coast or something.... Lol

codfishsnowman
Nice winter day..I was just having coffee down the street and could not believe how many people thought this was cold weather lol..Just a pleasant normal January day. Flurries this morning and graupel/snow/rain mix last night around 9pm...looking like the big torch might be thwarted later this week to some degree. I think real winter is slowly on its way. eekuasepinniW
Has there ever been a winter where Lake Winny in NH never freezes over? You'll get different answers to this... it does freeze every year, but there have been a couple of years where the middle of the lake never froze. Because of its shape, it'll look totally frozen from most vantage points. Nah, and it will this year for sure. Probably by the end of the week. The lake is still 38... we'd need an armageddon-style cold snap to pull a freeze off that fast. There isn't even ice in the shallow bays from what the 8000 webcams show. Not particularly high topped but I'm betting it'd produce snow here if it clouds up. Exciting stuff this winter.

Ginx snewx
Good find Ginxeroo I check that cam daily, miss being there. Stowe looks awesome today, you would think these eastern resorts would have web cams at the summits like Western resorts do. At 100 a ticket I am sure Stowe could afford it.
