Band shifting south now....might be carrying over into the Berkshires some.... 15.6F now. I agree that December is a lousy month for the coast traditionally, water temps still too warm, and other factors working against us. I grew up within spitting distance of warm ocean waters (still live there). My father would take us up to thompsonville/springfiled for the holidays and i spent a glorious week with snow OTG. i remember numerous times when it would be snowing when we left to go home and as soon as we came out of the hills of N/W RI to snow would turn to rain with no snow OTG. Mass isn't even a small state and that is not a big temp spread. If you are talking Rhode Island with -5 in the Hills and 38 on the coast on the coast or something....
