weatherwiz
Looks like it will be pretty damn cold Tuesday night into Wednesday...not saying it won't any other during night during this cold snap but for some reason I just have a fetish for Tuesday night so we'll leave it at this. Guess the low temperature for the following stations: Deadline is 11:59 PM Monday. BDL BDR BOS HVN ORH PVD

CoastalWx
Pros, nrly delivery of cold air. Cons, no snowpack so temps could have been colder.
danstorm
BDL 7 BDR 12 BOS 11 HVN 9 ORH 3 PVD 10 Edit because HVN usually gets pretty cold with a N drain.

We flirt with -20C at 850 by 00z Wednesday. Should mean a pretty cold snap... especially with gusty NW winds.

Yeah I went 3 under GFS MOS for HVN for that very reason. 2M temps also look really cold Tuesday afternoon/evening so I'm pretty confident in single digits inland. CoastalWx
I think if winds are like 330-360 or so, KBOS could be really cold...that's the best delivery for KBOS.

wxmanmitch
0.5° F for a low here. Didn't make negative territory but it was close. Temperature free fell until just after midnight and then stabilized around 1° F. Never really decoupled here, which prevented me from going lower. I thought I'd get to about -2° F or so. Should've known better this winter. PSF had 2° F for a low.
40/70 Benchmark
8* Low. The effect of the strong wind was was very apparent, as it really acted to mute any RAD cooling and the low temperatures were very uniform.

Guidance was trending a little weaker with the cold push at 850hPa, plus the winds, plus no fresh snow cover.
