I'm almost to the point of expecting it will stay that way, everything will stay to the north, and we will be high and dry. The Hi-Res models trending down with the precip signifies them catching up with reality. I'll be very shocked if by Monday morning I am proven wrong. We've had no favorable LES thanks to all the mild air, and these "first event of the season" deals rarely work out as huge. It is not even that we only have an inch of snow this whole year, it is that every event that is supposed to give us an inch or two ends up giving nothing, so it is hard to have confidence in anything. I received only one event of over a trace or 0.1; that was a 0.3" event a couple weeks ago. MKE reported 1.1" so far, but I'm skeptical they received even that much.
