I was wondering if this was going to happen becuase temps have been in the low 20s so far today.
blue60007
Good luck to everyone getting wintry weather, just been having some solid downpours here the last hour or so.
Geos
Dense fog IMBY now. Visibility 1/4-1/2 mile. Rain has tapered to drizzle here and fog is starting to form here too. With this mild month is seems like we've had more cloudy days. 20 days this month and about the same for November.
Chicago Storm
Fairly dense fog here, with vis at about 1/4SM.
turtlehurricane
Big ole' dendrite aggregates coming down! Down to 32.5 °F on top of the met building and a 35-40 dBZ band is about to hit. Finally, some winter for lunch.
daddylonglegs
Still some flakes, but really light... I had some big fat flakes earlier. Not enough to cover the grass, but still pretty. Tomorrow should melt everything once again...
on_wx
The fog is worsening here. Visibility down to about 100-200 metres 1920z at the Region of Waterloo Int'l Airport 6 miles SE of here
Geos
Temperature has dropped to 39° here from 41°. Cold rain and fog making for a miserable day! Hopefully someone in Ontario will cash in on some snow from this!
SchaumburgStormer
The fog is worsening here. Visibility down to about 100-200 metres 1920z at the Region of Waterloo Int'l Airport 6 miles SE of here we are under a 1/4 mile visibility as well. Going 60 mph, and having a stop sign pop out less than a 1/4 mile ahead of me was interesting to say the least.

Hopefully someone in Ontario will cash in on some snow from this! Could be a swath of 1/4" of ice running from just north of Toronto to near Ottawa, and maybe an inch of snow just north of that, but that's about it. Too much mid level warming for siggy snows. I don't know how to check temps higher up...but the freezing line at 925mb on SPC meso page is well northeast of here, and the 850mb freeze line is barely straddling the north side of Waterloo Region

Some solid snow NW of here in Moneyman territory and West Bend.

Chicago WX
This system sucks! Moneyman territory? Is that like a jackpot zone for snowfall? Moneyman from EasternUSWX, our previous board...on which he was banned for spamming fantasy sports leagues upon members. He lives close to Fon du Lac, WI. wisconsinwx may or may not be related to him. Anyways, 0.28" of rain here in the LAF today. Wet.

Still a ways to go on the wettest year record. There was only .06" measured at Metro Airport through 4 PM, with another I believe .27" to go.
