THE FREEZING RAIN WILL BEGIN IN THE KITCHENER WATERLOO AREA

EVENING. AMOUNTS WILL BE GENERALLY IN THE 3 TO 6 MM RANGE.

THE BOUNDARY BETWEEN THE FREEZING RAIN AND PLAIN RAIN IS EXPECTED TO
LIE FROM THE WATERLOO WELLINGTON AREA THROUGH HALTON PEEL

Well isn't this interesting. I was wondering if this was going to happen becuase temps have been in the low 20s so far today.

Dense fog IMBY now. Visibility 1/4-1/2 mile.

Rain has tapered to drizzle here and fog is starting to form here too.

With this mild month is seems like we've had more cloudy days. 20 days this month and about the same for November.

Temperature has dropped to 39° here from 41°. Cold rain and fog making for a miserable day!

Hopefully someone in Ontario will cash in on some snow from this!

Could be a swath of 1/4" of ice running from just north of Toronto to near Ottawa, and maybe an inch of snow just north of that, but that's about it. Too much mid level warming for siggy snows.

You think KW/Guelph are too far south to cash in on the freezing rain? I don't know how to check temps higher up...but the freezing line at 925mb on SPC meso page is well northeast of here, and the 850mb freeze line is barely straddling the north side of Waterloo Region

I think we'll get freezing rain to start, maybe for 2-3 hours, but as the intensity of the precip starts to increase I think we'll get the warm air in the inversion layer to mix down and change us over to plain rain.

Yeah, but of course now the precip has lightened up, in between two heavier areas. Some solid snow NW of here in Moneyman territory and West Bend.

This system sucks! Moneyman territory? Is that like a jackpot zone for snowfall?

Moneyman from EasternUSWX, our previous board...on which he was banned for spamming fantasy sports leagues upon members. He lives close to Fon du Lac, WI. wisconsinwx may or may not be related to him.

Anyways, 0.28" of rain here in the LAF today. Wet.

Lol, I should have clarified who Moneyman was; he also was on here for a time. This is the forum he got suspended on, right? Btw, I got members for that fantasy league, which wasn't spam.
