Carvers Gap
Lots of cold weather advisories in Florida. Wind chill watch in the Everglades - not typical weather in south Florida. Wow.

CAD_Wedge_NC
See guys! Everything under control.....The models have this thing figured out perfectly The only thing I can take from this, is the tendency for a trough somewhere in the east and a western US ridge. As to the axis of either.....all bets are off.
Brick Tamland
It's going to be cold and dry for a couple of days. Oh joy.
Brick Tamland
Meh. Just can't get very excited by this short lived cold shot. By Thursday I will be back to normal temps and well above going into next weekend. Thank goodness it's only going to last a couple of days. IWC
Brick, I'm a lot confused on what type of weather your looking for?
MillzPirate
Once again, the GFS inches that low closer to NC. Precip doesn't reflect it however.

Brick Tamland
Brick, I'm a lot confused on what type of weather your looking for? It's simple. Snow or warm and dry. If there's not going to be any snow with the cold, then I'd rather it just be warm.
jburns
yeah the warm does come back Friday and Saturday. Trying to get moisture coordinated with these in and out cold shots is like trying to hit a wiffle ball on a windy day. You can see it coming right at you but you can't get the bat on it. 1234snow
I know how this works but it is a bit discouraging when you see yourself surrounded by purple. I'm in Kingsport BTW. For those of you who don't know the area geography, I'm just west of the interstate that is west of Bristol, TN on the VA/TN line. Yeah I know that my immediate area never does well with upslope flow events. Whatever weather Kingsport has is pretty much what we have. Other parts in the county are higher up and do better in most events.
WilkesboroDude
NWS Blacksburg "For those areas outside the advisory/warnings...snow showers could make it southeast toward the Blue Ridge this evening with narrow streamers in a west-northwest-east-southeast band. At this time...only keeping higher probability of precipitation across the far western slopes with slight chances into the NC foothills/southern Virginia Blue Ridge into west of Roanoke. Some flurries will be seen as far east as the lyh to Mount Airy region."
DaculaWeather
From GSP this morning about next week HOWEVER LOOKING PAST DAY 7...IT IS POSSIBLE THE UPPER LOW/TROF COULD HAVE A WINTRY TYPE IMPACT BY THE TIME IT CROSSES THE AREA LATE MON INTO TUE. THERE IS VERY LOW CONFIDENCE ON THAT PARTICULAR SCENARIO AT THIS POINT THOUGH.
