Chris L
Finger Lakes arent LES hot spots...i spent four years there too. We always had to chase towards Syracuse to be in the good stuff. Buffalo late Dec '01 is a good example of how paralyzing lake effect can be... 2001 was well, the granddaddy of all LES.. 82 inches of snow at BUF. Looks like the Euro also has that storm. Low off of NJ at hr. 216. It does look too warm for the coast, but there's definitely a signal.

Its pretty darn hard for that to happen but December 99-January 00 came about as close as it ever gets, NYC nearly made it to February that year with no measurable snow til the miracle saved us. We'll see how that plays out but its only a matter of time before 1 of these PNA spikes makes things interesting

I have been wanting to see some finger lake enhancement. Guess we will have to hope later in the month; lake waters are warm. Been flurrying here all day though.
