He's basing his thoughts on some pretty wild presumptions which have not shown any evidence of happening at this point. Furthermore, he closes by saying that MUCH can still go wrong and wreck all of this. There's the ultimate release at the end and says much about this. And if it stays cold, snow chances should come. Weather predicting is about more than looking at a model run. DT, JB, and others are using their brains and analyzing all the data.
