Yeah it really has slowed for the past hour. Oh well as you say always something.

Radar has improved but actual out the window has been slow to respond but it is starting to get better here.

good news its at or around 32 here. starting to collect on the pavement consistently, starting to "finally" look like a winter storm rather then a spring storm. 0.5" so far. 1.5-2.5" is likely northwest of line from Novi to Washington.

I think there is some slant sticking in Clinton County. It seems they are often the jackpot.

lol, they do seem to be on the high end of things usually. Of course there are others who measure snow on a hot plate. Snow measuring remains an inexact "science".

Just saw 1.8" officially at IND. Now up to a whopping 2.0" on the season.

EDIT: 2.6" from a spotter on the south side of LAF, via Chad's blog. So maybe the Frankfort total isn't completely bunk.

Awesome.

Using that snowfall report at 7AM and the total precip at LAF through 7AM (0.19"), looks like about 5:1-6:1 ratio snow. Kinda sad...but we'll take what we can get.

Measured a little over an inch earlier this morning.  I'd estimate a final total just over 2" but melting is underway.  Frankfort had 3"...I guess wait to see if anything else comes in from LAF.

Edit: just saw your post

Looks like this last band moving through Central Indiana is really putting it down, with multiple reporting stations down to 1/2 mile with SN.

Had impressive rates/flake size here with that band, though, the warm temperatures made it difficult for anything to pile up.

Once again, it seems the south/east side of LAF got the jackpot. My place this morning seemed to have a bit more snow than West Laf. Just came back from lunch and its half melted already... I'd say less than an inch remains (in WL).

Ended up with (probably) over 2" @ home. Not sure on an exact measurement because I am very sick and for the most part staying in bed. It was a nice surprise this morning, though :)

Limited reports so far (haven't seen anything from IWX) but that sounds about right given reports of 1.5" in Lake Village and 1.2" in Portage...theoretically you should've done better than them.

Hopefully there's still some left when I get back this afternoon. It's all but gone here in IKK.

Gradient winter. Glad we live on the east side. :D

Yeah I am eyeballing it by looking at the railings on our deck. If not a tad over 2", then it has got to be close--unless my vision for measurement has gone to the crapper due to lack of snow

Tomorrow's COOP summary should confirm (hopefully) a more accurate measurement.

Peeked out the window. Still looks like all rain here in Etobicoke.

Just a little fun fact that I've picked up on throughout the years. The highways in Mississauga dissect the city pretty well with snow vs rain. Look at Mississauga on google maps and you can see the 4 distinct regions. (1) Lakeshore-QEW. (2) QEW to 403. (3) 403-401. (4) 401 north. Sorry for the OT
