40/70 Benchmark
SREFs would probably be nice for interior ne mass. If you could lock that...it would be a picture postcard. You guys have latitude. The extra degree C at 850 and maybe even 950 may help. But if we somehow have crappy echoes..it could be a bust of an inch or so. Thanks. HoarfrostHubb
Not joking was going to do it last week didn't get around to it. Then it snowed. It's too long and looks dumb. I need to cut it back to putt putt levels because this year go small or go home. NAM would make it snow on a lot of us, but it's the NAM. Parts of my lawn are still green. Mowed in early November (10th?) Almost thought about doing it the other day. It will be good to have it covered by 9AM Friday

CoastalWx
Thanks. Hopefully the guidance is adjusted now. There may be minor ticks either way..but I don't see why you won't be able to have the ground whitened with at least a little snow. I hope I didn't jinx it. I'm just not bullish at this moment...but if the euro stays put..enjoy.
weathafella
I think I have 50% chance of winning the bet now. Too bad..,,I was going to get messenger drunk at one of the dinners and then steal his lawn mower.
dendrite
Mslp barely moved north. The precip shield is more expansive and the storm is a few mbs deeper. I was talking more about the mid level thermal fields, but the mslp did tick a hair north too. You can see it on the sfc streamlines on ewall. ORH_wxman
The NAM is cold enough for snow all through RI and SE MA too on this run now looking at it more closely. Snows all the way to the coast.
moneypitmike
I forget how to post a radar loop (pm me with instructions please?), but it looks like a lot of water coming into WMA/WCT

ORH_wxman
That's the tame clown map too...but probably the most realistic (in terms of model output). One of them shows a huge area of 4-6", lol. NAM is too far south anyway I think.
moneypitmike
It was great Dave...a wonderful milestone for our daughter. Snow Friday for many? Congrats, Jerry! Nail-biter on your bet. HoarfrostHubb
I want to hear a plow Friday morning...and a call from central office. Nothing blocking this in any way. Too bad. It could have been nice

Too bad..,,I was going to get messenger drunk at one of the dinners and then steal his lawn mower. Trust me it'll cost you much less to buy me two meals versus getting me drunk. I like good wines and expensive vodka. And no matter how much I drink you can't take me home. The NAM is cold enough for snow all through RI and SE MA too on this run now looking at it more closely. Snows all the way to the coast. Yes, NAM is a snowstorm. I'd get hammered for a few hours.
moneypitmike
Okay--off to bed. Check things from my phone, but probably not post. Have a good one folks. Jucier and colder for all. And to all a good night.

ORH_wxman
GFS caving colder Yep, no big surprise IMHO. It was the warmest of guidance the last few runs. A little south too with the dynamical aspects as well.
