Damage In Tolland
Probably did not see euro or ensembles. They quote the Euro in that blurb I posted. Euro is a wet snow bomb inland then d/s
ORH_wxman
The nam wasn't as good as I first thought...but could definitely cause some problems with the morning commute inland if it played out like the 18z nam showed. Like Brian said, everything will be melted quickly though as temps rise over 40F after 15z and don't fall below freezing until after 3z...if at all? NAM would probably be an inch or two of slop for you but the higher up areas around here would double that.
weatherMA
Yeah Will and Brian...I'll take anything I can get. 2" of slop is better then nothing...and there's still the xmas storm.

CoastalWx
They quote the Euro in that blurb I posted. Euro is a wet snow bomb inland then d/s The wording looked awfully strong to me, that's all. At least they give the scenarios.
moneypitmike
Just a quick OT note and to put closure on Irene... They have reopened Rt. 2 at last! Just ran to the dump and the USGS was doing a water survey on the North River. Meanwhile, just above them there were dump trucks full of rocks and front loaders working on river repairs. Not sure how that works out. Now--back to the snow.

HoarfrostHubb
Remember the storm two weeks ago that really looked like an OTS solution that ended up being a NYS/CNE/NNE threat. Yeah--sucks on the qpf for those above Rt 2. Whew! Thank goodness I'm 3 miles south. I'll jackpot... not

CoastalWx
lol at him posting accum this far out. He does that crap all the time to try and be a maverick. It's stupid....just like how black ice was going to be the biggest problem during the ice storm in 2008.
Logan11
Re: Irene ... I was surprised at how fast VT was rebuilding the whole mess along SR-100 when I went up there in late October. I guess that's what it's like to be in a well run state ...as opposed to bankrupt NY. Just a quick OT note and to put closure on Irene... They have reopened Rt. 2 at last!
